4/14 Penn State Mont Alto Virtual Planetarium Show
The event will start close to 7:30 PM, but you're welcome to sign in a bit early.

Since the Penn State Mont Alto portable planetarium is still on a COVID-19 hiatus, Kim Herrmann, associate professor of physics and astronomy, will host three virtual planetarium shows starting at 7:30 p.m.: Wed. Feb 23, Tues. March 15, and Thurs. April 14. Questions about the astronomical wonders in the sky, our solar system, and beyond will be welcomed. These events are free and open to the public.

On April 14, our special guest presenter will be Dr. Rajib Ganguly, Associate Professor of Physics at the University of Michigan-Flint. He will present "Journey from the Edge of Darkness," a historical story that weaves together the first detected gravity wave, the first image of a black hole, and the evolution of life on Earth, including humanity's knowledge and abilities to observe such incredible astronomical events.
