Catherine Baumgardner
Director of Professional Development and Student Engagement @School of Public Policy
Catherine Baumgardner is the director of professional development and student engagement and an associate teaching professor in the School of Public Policy. Baumgardner holds a Ph.D. in philosophy from The Pennsylvania State University in Workforce Education and Development. She received her Master of Health Administration from The Ohio State University. Her areas of research interest include organization development, workforce engagement, change leadership, and human resources issues related to talent management, recruitment, and retention. Dr. Baumgardner is an experienced health care executive with nearly 30 years of day-to-day operational experience and is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives.
