Anti-Asian Racism & Art
This webinar highlights how artists, curators, and scholars address anti-Asian racism through the creation and display of artworks. While artistic and curatorial practice has often been understood to fall within the realm of "aesthetics," such work also effectively intervenes in the dynamics of broader visual culture and thus has political import. The featured speakers will each give short statements on the topic; they will then dialogue with each other and respond to
questions from the audience.
