We invite you to join WCAEA's Eighth World Chinese Arts Education Symposium "Crossing Over & Living Together" Second Series - August Webinar!

Due to the complications of a widespread pandemic, WCAEA's Eighth Symposium has moved online under the theme of "Crossing Over & Living Together.” Crossing Over is a form of expansion, an action of shortening gaps between cultures and accessibilities of information and educational resources. Living Together is a collective attitude of Understanding one another, accepting and appreciating each one’s differences, to collaboratively build a sustainable community.

Since the outbreak of the global pandemic in 2020, online teaching has slowly transformed from an emergency teaching method into an essential and reliable method for most educators. In the era of the pandemic, how visual art educators are adapting and coping with their art teachings online? How are visual art classes taught differently and remotely among countries and regions? With these curiosities, we invited visual art educators from France, the United States, Turkey, Malaysia, and China.

Panelists are separated into two sections, one is focused on the Asia Region and all presentations will be in Mandarin. Another section is focused on the Europe and America Regions, which is the current Webinar you are registering for and will be in English. Join us for this Webinar from 7:30 to 10:45 am on Sunday morning, August 29, 2021.
