Description
Penn State Clinical and Translational Science Institute presents “COVID-19 Research from a Policy Influence Perspective" at its next Translational Science Seminar Series webinar from noon to 1 p.m. on Feb. 18. This seminar is the first in a three-part series focused on health policy.
In this seminar, Robert Lennon, M.D., associate professor of family and community medicine, will present his team’s experience with COVID-19 research from a policy influence perspective. The purpose of his team’s research was to gain insight and understanding of the public's knowledge of COVID-19, their intended compliance with CDC recommendations to help prevent the spread of COVID-19, and how they received information about COVID-19. The researchers collected data in a large global survey (translated into 23 languages; over 18,000 respondents from 70 countries).
This seminar will be moderated by Charleen Hsuan, Ph.D., who offers health policy impact consultations through the institute. Learn more and request a consultation here.
The Translational Science Seminar Series: Bench to Bedside and Beyond encourages an engaged translational science workforce through panel discussions and practical application information.
