Can we motivate sudents at every level (high school, college, graduate, professional schools) to speak up so that their current and future interests are integrated in order to prepare for the future?
It seems at the moment, of the three stakeholders, the one with the most power is the business community. Business leaders have benefitted from the situation that has evolved (the wealth being created is largely going to them). What incentive is there for them to change their approach?
How do we change the requirements for contractors where the lowest price is the determinant for selection?
But where do you draw the line between establishing this culture and social contract and employees abusing or applying unjustified pressure on companies
Do you feel Citizens United is impacting legislative aspects or public opinion of labor law?
What prospects for success do you see in the multiple apprenticeship programs expanding in various states - beyond the building trades - with HS and community college and tech institute focus?
