Does the responsible cost center get used for the distribution of RIF?

Did the import file include dates? If so, when imported if the dates were inaccurate, would the system ‘identify’ that as an error?

Can you review the process on closing an IO? Is it just updating the close date?

Recently instructed by Purchasing buyer to split freight GL code from equipment purchased GL.

Are they telling you to change the GL or the product category?

When JEs come to us from outside departments (OPP), we are unable to change the short text/long text. Is putting our description of the 5Ws in the comment prior to approving sufficient…or do we reject the form to OPP?

Yes, when you change the product category, it will assign the default GL that goes along with that product category, so you will need to manually change the GL to whatever the GL is for the product your ordering
