Sentencing Guidelines Fundamentals

This seminar will include a comprehensive explanation of the sentencing guidelines. Topics that will be covered are: Offense Gravity Score, Prior Record Score, and sentence recommendations focused on the 7th Edition Sentencing Guidelines and its amendments. This seminar will include example cases and discussion of SGS Web to assist in developing a deeper understanding of the framework of the sentencing guidelines, as well as the practical application of its policies. This seminar will be held remotely, via Zoom, and is approved for Continuing Legal Education (CLE) and Continuing Judicial Education (CJE) credits.
